Dinner Church at The Feast is a community meal open to everyone. We have been providing this meal every Sunday since October 17th, 2021 and every Monday since 2023. We partner with local organizations to come provide the meals and get involved.

Dinner Church provides a way for all people - no matter where they come from, what they believe, or how much they have in their bank account - to come and eat together.

Everyone is welcome at the table.

What to expect?

We meet at the Riverside Church building at 84 Maple Ave in Red Bank. The parking lot entrance is on Oakland avenue. Once you park, look for the signs and the red door.

We open at 3:00pm to hang out and get settled. Then we serve dinner at 4:00pm. After dinner on Sundays, we share a message, usually from the life of Jesus, sometimes someone's life story, and other times we have conversation starters at the table.

Why Dinner Church?

There are two things that unite all of us, no matter who we are. First is that we are all deeply loved. A lot of us helping run Dinner Church are Jesus followers. We are sure of this - that the God created who created everything loves his creation. The second is that we all need community. We need to be known by others and we need to know others. This is the way God intended life to be - people living in community with one another.

We don't have enough opportunities to sit and eat with other people in a way that puts us all in the same place, eating the same food, sitting at the same tables.

Jesus often talks about meals. He eats with other people often, especially people who others don't want to eat with. He uses meals as illustrations in his teaching. And the Bible also gives us an image of the restored world that includes a grand banquet, with the finest foods and drinks.

Meals are also a unique way to be with people. When we eat with each other, we connect in a way that is different then passing conversations or text messages or anything else.
